This is with bestbuy, so no bill credit involved, it's instant trade in value that deducts from the sale price, and tax is on the deducted selling price too. Don't mislead others.

ATT is $100 cheaper further. $500 for mini and $600 for regular. But trade in values are horrible.

T-Mo is still the best in value overall.

I think the error is pretty clear. 1 active order per line. Either finish the order (pickup and trade-in) or order from a different line. You have 9+ lines.
You were right. At first, I kept getting the error, and I was not given the option to use a different number (even after signing out of my account). However, once I closed all of my browser windows, I was again given the option of using a different line for the upgrade. Worked like a charm.

Thank you.

Yes - you will get an enhanced trade-in value and $100 off the iPhone 13 price if you use an active postpaid TMo account to process the transaction. If I can stomach another $500 expense I will trade in my original iPhone SE for a spare iPhone 13. I've been doing a couple of trade-ins each month since September.

I have the refurb XR from total wireless which is not activated with the provided SIM card. Do I need to activate before I trade in with BB? Thanks in advance

can you upgrade on same line multiple times?
Yes, but only one at a time. You can use your phone number to place the order and upgrade, and you will have to go into the store, trade in the iPhone XR, and pick up the new iPhone before you can use the same phone number to place another order and upgrade.

You do not need to activate it. I recommend fully charging the phone (or at least have it partially charged), making sure it turns on, and taking off the sticker on the back of the phone - there shouldn't be anything more than that. I have traded in 4 iPhone XR devices in the last 2 weeks - including 3 at the same time yesterday - and it has all gone flawlessly. That said, there is always the chance that the employee is not experienced with trade-ins and could mess up.

I hope this helps,
Tofu Vic

Not sure if this was asked yet…

I got in on the last deal and did an upgrade with my phone number.

Can I use the same number to do that same upgrade again or is it limited?

I've done two, many people in these threads have done 4 to 9. Go for it!

You can use the same phone number; it is not limited. Do note that you can only use your phone number one at a time. Scenario: You can use your phone number to place the order and upgrade, and you will have to go into the store, trade in the iPhone XR, and pick up the new iPhone before you can use the same phone number to place another order and upgrade.

I hope this helps,

I brought the whole box packaging, charger, docs, sim pin and the phone. The Best Buy cell phone employee told me he just needs the phone. He saw the iphone 11 brand new still with the protective screen laminate. He told me to do the honors and peel it off laugh out loud. Then he turned the phone on to check the IMEI. He asked for the phone number and I gave the T mobile account phone number but he was asking for the Best Buy customer phone number. He didn't ask for T mobile account number or Social security #. I didn't bring my mom with me (account holder). I purchased the phone for her, so account holder does not need to be there to pick up the phone.

The BB employee was going to open the phone box to put the sim card for me into the phone to make sure it works. I had commented that I was hoping to just do it myself at home, and another employee told him that it CAN be done by the customer at home. So the employee just printed some documents and had me sign for some stuff and I was on my way. I think, if you wanted to push it, tell them you want to activate the phone yourself at home and need to get going.
Nice! How did you unlock it to use with other carrier?

Can I insert the old T-Mo SIM card from the $20 line that I used to upgrade to activate the new iPhone 13 or do I have to use the new T-Mo SIM card that was taped to the box? Is there any advantage of using the new SIM instead of the old SIM?

This $20 line is from the Costco BYOD and the rebate is still pending. I do not want to jeopardize the rebate by updating the line using the new SIM. Any suggestions?

Old SIM worked for me, no need to touch the new SIM BB gives you.

Just tried to unlock two flex phones from BB using active ATT SIM card but no luck. Now phones locked to ATT and I don't have an ATT account. PLEASE HELP!!!
No luck in what? did you try going to ATT unlock page and file a unlock request? It doesNOT happen automatically and you have to make sure to choose "not a customer" option and provide valid email to which unlock confirmation will be sent and you have to confirm it within 24HR. you can later check the status if you don't get unlock e-mail notification and if it doesn't go through they will tell you why.
