This is with bestbuy, so no bill credit involved, it's instant trade in value that deducts from the sale price, and tax is on the deducted selling price too. Don't mislead others.

ATT is $100 cheaper further. $500 for mini and $600 for regular. But trade in values are horrible.

T-Mo is still the best in value overall.

No one knows... Worst case is Visible says the phone is not theirs and ask you to ask T-Mobile... since the phone is registered under T-Mobile by Best Buy.

That is the hope per the terms of visible and verizon.

If it doesn't happen automatically then you will have to call around both of them.

T-mobile cannot unlock devices that aren't locked to their network.

在我的案子中没有在60天自动解锁.但是当时visible说他们系统有问题,希望你有不一样的结果.

I got the message that the "Package could not be added to cart". I went to the BB store to get the line added and found that i had the "International Long distance Barrring Call feature turned on which is causing the issue. We spoke to a T-Mobile Rep who removed the feature and then the order went smoothly.

@TMobileHelp

Hi, I need help unlocking my iphone 13 that I purchased at Best Buy and paid in full. My number is (xxx) xxx-xxx and IMEI is #xxxxxxxxxxxxx. Can you help? Thanks.
Thank you. I just chatted with a TForce agent using this message, and he was very nice and unlocked my phone instantly. By the way, I signed up the $20 line 2 days ago and bought the phone yesterday.

Is there a $30 activation fee with this $20 plan?

Apologies in advance, I haven't read the full ~90 pages of thread here. Can I still start a t-mo service via BB page? I can choose $65 plan and cancel after 40 days or after Tforce unlocks the account, right? Has anyone tried this path already?

If you sign up in store they will charge $30 activation fee but if you sign up through chat there will be none.

I signed up via phone and was charged an Activation Fee - If I call can I get it waived?

Man, I'm having an issue with my 13 mini. Not sure what the issue is. I dmed tforce yesterday to request an unlock but it still has not unlocked.

I called today and now my damn iMessages are green

I did take out my sim and put it in the 13 mini in order for it to 'register' with the T-Mobile network. Not sure what's going on with this mini

There are loads of potential solutions posted on AT&T forums, reddit, xda, etc. Have to sift through them.

2 reoccurring themes:
1) Unlock portal is wonky and doesn't recognize AT&T IMEIs every once in a while - solution is to try later, different browsers, etc.
2) Unlock portal doesn't have all of the AT&T IMEIs - You have to call for an unlock
This is a thread from 2 years ago about a Best Buy iPhone 11 locked to AT&T.

https://forums.att.com/conversati...5e8dab5fc7
Okay, I have an improved AT&T unlock strategy. Need some volunteers with unopened / not yet locked iPhones to test it with me before publishing it to the public. PM me. New method shouldn't lock your phone to AT&T, but no guarantees. Strategy published.

I think so. Call and ask to waive. Activation fee should only be charged in store.
