This is with bestbuy, so no bill credit involved, it's instant trade in value that deducts from the sale price, and tax is on the deducted selling price too. Don't mislead others.

ATT is $100 cheaper further. $500 for mini and $600 for regular. But trade in values are horrible.

T-Mo is still the best in value overall.

You got pro Max for 999? It's showing the pro for that price and pro Max at 1099. Also $12 in taxes, so you got charged taxes on the after discount price, not the full price?
correct. That's why I thought the deal has expired but members confirmed that only Iphone 13 was on sale so my case was quite odd.

If I'm not with TMobile, my options are:

1
Signup via chat at $20/month with waived activation. BUT I have to wait to get the sim mailed to me?

2. Signup in store and get charged $20+$30 activation.

3. Signup with bestbuys cheapest $65 plan (is there activation?).

If I'm cancelling right after (unlock in a couple days via chat) I don't think there's much of a difference between 1&3 right? I'll get a prorated refund regardless?

I'm currently a sprint customer having iphone 11. Can I take advantage of sprint deal where I can get 800 off on iPhone 13 and then can I trade in my iPhone 13 with
13 pro with this deal?

How quickly after activating the $20 plan were you able to go to bestbuy? Does it take a while for the bestbuy system to know about the new TMobile plan?

So you paid $20 for 1 month + $30 for activation?
I signed up this afternoon at Costco for 2 lines of the $20/month with $300 gift cards (each) after 12-14 weeks of service. After setting these two lines up at Costco, I submitted the rebates, then set up an online account and linked the lines to it. About 30 minutes after setting up the online account and testing out that the phone was working, I bought the Iphone 13 with an XR trade in at Best Buy. I have not gone into Best Buy yet to pick up the Iphone, but I do have a Best Buy order number.

Note that Costco Wireless associates did not charge me for activation or give me any grief on signing up for the $20 talk and text only plan. Also note that one of my talk and text lines has 4.5gb of 3G data as well. I have not fully activated the other line yet, so I'm not sure if that one has 4.5gb of 3G data as well.

All in all, hopefully both my $300 gift cards come from Costco, but either way I saved a bunch on the Iphone 13 today (yes there is the cost of the XR, but I had it laying around not doing anything).

If you are an existing Sprint customer then I think $800 off via bill credit is a better deal .

They dropped the price on the IP13 and IP13 Mini by $100. Nice! I'm thinking of trading in my IP11 Pro for a IP13 Mini. I will basically pay $10 + sales tax.
128gb isn't enough 😅

I took advice from others here and did the deal in store tonight. I have a grandfathered T-Mobile one plan. No errors or glitches in store thankfully . Surprised how fast and smooth it all went actually.

Traded two TW refurb XRs for two 13 minis. Rep did not even check condition, just typed in IMEI and asked if any scratches or issues existed.

I did two separate transactions to maximize XR trade values because I am selling one mini. Price for each mini was $225 after trade and tax. Total out of pocket for each mini was about $350 after adding the cost of the XR from TW.

I am selling one mini after the sale ends for $600, so will make $250 on that one, which means end cost for the one mini I am keeping will be $100. Long road to get there but not too shabby. Beats bill credits for 30 months. And T-Mobile is good about unlocking promptly, so no worries there.
So you're selling that 13 mini for $600 as an open box (tmobile needs to see on their end if it was ever activated with tmobile sim)?

And where your selling e bay?

I did exact same thing.
2. got a new sim for $20 plan. I activated it in burner phone to make sure plan was active.
4. I didnt use the new sim the best buy gave me and instead just put the tmobile $20 plan sim in iphone - it activated and locked iphone to tmobile as expected.
5. chatted over twitter with @tmobilehelp asking for unlock.
-they asked for best buy receipt - gave them screen shot from online order - they need to see date purchase, and IEMA number.
-tested with other sim (i have visible, freedompop(att), textnow(tmobile) - all worked on iphone so definately unlocked.
- performed upgrade to ios 15 and retested and rechaed that SIM NO RESTRICTIONS
6. I am going to call tomorrow to cancel the $20 plan since i dont need it and use signed up for it to be active customer and to not have problems with the unlock process.
Will they refund full $20 or prorated?
