This is with bestbuy, so no bill credit involved, it's instant trade in value that deducts from the sale price, and tax is on the deducted selling price too. Don't mislead others.

ATT is $100 cheaper further. $500 for mini and $600 for regular. But trade in values are horrible.

T-Mo is still the best in value overall.

Is it possible to "upgrade" the same number twice? I signed up for T-Mobile w/ the $20 talk and text plan and successfully used that phone number to get this deal. If I have another (unlocked) phone I want to trade in, is it possible to just go the "upgrade" route again using the same number I used for my first trade-in? (Guessing the answer is no but checking just in case).
It is possible, one transaction at a time.

Dude, that was the most helpful post EVER! The level of incompetency at T-mobile stores to get the $20 deal (I went to two) is unparalleled. They couldn't figure it out all day, the guy at Best Buy shrugged his shoulders and phone customer service was also useless. THANK YOU!
I'm glad it worked for you 😁👍

So far upgraded three lines on our account to iPhone 13 128GB with this deal. Two already upgraded last November when this was available. All these lines are still on EIP and credits are continuing. Pretty smooth in-store pickup / trade-in.

Yes they will as these are flex policy iPhones which means it locks to the first sim inserted.

Definitely is, I bought 2 iPhones a day apart on the same line.

Just curious though, how can they take the trade-in if there's still an amount owing on it?
Won't the trade-inphone get blacklisted because it has an outstanding balance?

If not, and I can just keep making payments on it until it's done, I'm ok with that too.
Just concerned that it will be a hassle if it's not paid off when traded.

Thanks!

As business is getting more competitive, these are the types of products you'll be seeing. Yes, it can be seen as illogical. Rest assured, this is perfectly normal in an ever-changing consumer-driven landscape. Remember, these are still interest-free commodity. I hope it will remained unchange for all our sake.

Is this worth paying another 150 plus tax by trading in a s21 (that i bought for 330 by trading iphone 7) . total cost for me in this scenario would be 480 plus tax. Hoping for a better camera and longer os updates. not sure if there are going to be better trade in deals down the road and i don't mind waiting a little longer to get a better deal. appreciate your inputs

s22 is being released in a week or two. Should be some lucrative trade deals via Samsung and T-Mobile. If you definitely want iPhone, this deal is warm but made warmer by zero bill credits and immediate unlocking by T-Mobile. If you're on Magenta Max and can stomach 30 months of bill credits, there is a $0 trade offer currently from T-Mobile. So basically you need to decide which deal works best for you.

For ppl with One Plan or keep getting the "please try again" error message, go to your T-Mobile app and chat with the rep. I tried like 100 times with Best Buy and various T-Mobile reps but finally got through after the T-Mobile app rep fixed the issues at my account
So you have idea what do they need to fix . What we should tell them ? Should we get plan changed ?

No, Tmobile. Problem that was a web glitch, I guess.
