This is with bestbuy, so no bill credit involved, it's instant trade in value that deducts from the sale price, and tax is on the deducted selling price too. Don't mislead others.

ATT is $100 cheaper further. $500 for mini and $600 for regular. But trade in values are horrible.

T-Mo is still the best in value overall.

Made a rookie mistake of picking up the wrong color. I did not realize until my wife noticed when I got back home.

Is it too late to get the exchange at BB or even Apple store? The phone is still in box unopened with the sim tagged.

Appreciate any help.
BB said that there was $45 restocking fee for exchange/return but since you have it in the box unopened, I guess you may be able to get it exchanged from BB

Any tips on how not to have them put the sim in themselves? I just want to pick up and trade in tomorrow. Don't want the box opened at all by them if possible. Do most rep even care if it's less work for them?

ah how frustrating. Went to Best Buy to buy it, they said they were closed for activations and the guy said that I need to order it online and it will charge full price then my trade in will be deducted when I pick it up and bring my old phone back tomorrow. Looks like they're going to have to cancel and process in store

I thought it was like this too but the trade in is supposed to be deducted during checkout. I couldn't do it online. I did what you did and they had to cancel the order but was able to process another order in store.

Chill out, the tradein value does not show is just a BB site glitch, it will sort it out soon. The deal been ongoing forever and there is no reason it will be ended today.

My iPhone 7 just died on me on Sunday, so decided to order the 13 mini for $599 w/out trade-in.

Got an order confirmation, wait half a day, and I receive an email:
"Sorry, XXX. We had to cancel your mobile order.
We were unable to activate the device you purchased on our site, so we had to cancel the item(s) included in your mobile package. We will now begin processing a refund for your payment."

What may be the cause? I know local inventories are going fast, but it seems off.

Possibly considered reseller or having a lot of high value returns. Buy directly in-store.
