I used to be Spyder fan, but no more. They don't stand behind their lifetime warranty promise after they deny my claim when a liner of their winter jacket peeling off in little pieces. I now prefer Columbia Sportwear or Arc'teryx for sport wears.

I'm surprised you said Columbia, I've noticed a huge quality drop in the clothing I've been getting from Columbia in the last few years. Sucks that Spyder failed you, they used to be great, super high quality wear (at least 10+ years ago). I've noticed Burton slipping too. I'll look into the Arcterix option.

Spyder now sells in Costco.... It's become a bulk manufacturer. I'd trust Arc'teryx personally.
I bought 9 items the last time Spyder had a 40% off sale in December. 5 of the 9 items were not marked as final sale - I made screenshots at the time of sale. When I later tried to return those items they were in the meantime marked as final sale and my return was declined.
I fought customer service for weeks with dozens of emails with no avail, despite the dated screenshots.
Finally when I've sent a registered letter to their corporate address they acknowledged the change after the fact and accepted a return - which still incurred a $10 return fee.
Such a bad customer service and experience overall, do yourself a favor and skip this one

It happens to most of them, eventually.
The lure of massive sales numbers to people who wear for "look at my expensive..." fashion and will never utilize the product in the sport/extreme environment the name was built upon.
Also throw Marmot in with Columbia, Spyder, and Burton.
I haven't heard Acr'teryx had slipped....yet...
Yeah, I used to wear a lot of Spyder but no mas -- I had a pair of ski pants fail on literally the second run (return/repair refused) and the last fleece I got from them was Old Navy quality. Spyder, Marmot, Karbon, Columbia, Mtn Hardware, TNF all used to make a lot of high quality stuff but have gone way downhill in recent years, peddling to the mass markets. Patagonia, Arcteryx and OR are about all I buy now. Although I have a softshell Spyder rain jacket from ~5 yrs ago that is one of my all-time faves ...
