With the nation facing its worst blood shortage in over a decade, Krispy Kreme wanted to find a way to show our support for those willing to roll up a sleeve and give blood during January, National Blood Donor Month. For one week, 1/24 – 1/31, anyone who donates blood or platelets will receive a free Original Glazed® dozen. It's our way of helping the American Red Cross increase awareness of this urgent need and saying "thanks" to those who step up to help their community.
Here's how it works: Give blood any time between 1/24 – 1/31, then stop by your local Krispy Kreme for your free Original Glazed® dozen. Just show your proof of donation and date via your donor band or sticker, or flash your donor app.

Sounds like a Slick Deal, alright.
EDIT/ADD:
For those who TD'd this Comment, just read through the following Comments, and you'll see that this Comment generated thoughtful, AND helpful Comments on making blood donation more Equitable for the Donor.
There's not a THING wrong with stating Fact: These Non-profit Blood Banks do make a lot of money off donations.
And there's equally nothing wrong with Donors expecting more equitable Respect for their time and their body's product.
Below you'll read Comments were some blood banks are paying Donors for blood .... hard, green Cash to pay your bills, and not a dozen donuts.
However there's a truly critical shortage and has been since Omicron. It's at what they call a Crisis Level. So donut or no,if you can donate, please do.

I dont mind, 200 an hour few times a year roughly. but I wouldn't donate blood, imo, if you donate, get paid for it. I dont get excited for "helping" free for donation of blood. they just profit off you. nothing charitable about it.
thank you very much

The recipient might get the diabetus, though.
Idk. Just never liked donating blood for free. They profit off you without much incentives for the donor
