I stayed here and it was ok I wouldn't recommend it. It's not all inclusive. They entered our room without telling us to restock the mini fridge after we checked in. The only good thing is it's not too far from the malecon. Other side of the street is kinda scetchy. They charge for covid tests, and have limited availability.
Hmmmm... sounds like you have never been to Puerto Vallarta. I've been there a number of times and felt very safe each time. Granted, don't go looking for trouble and stay on the tourist paths. Last time I was there was 4 years ago. In the past 2 years, I've been to Cancun 2x and felt safe there as well. When I say safe, I mean that I don't feel that my wife or now 10 y/o daughter were in any jeopardy. Comparing the 2, we were more sure of the safety in Puerto Vallarta than Cancun.

Both of these locations are tourist hot spots which brings money to the area... so it's beneficial to the town/gov to protect visitors. If they don't, they would lose their income.

When in Puerto Vallarta, we hit the market and walked around the town. The church was really nice too. We even met younger adults (20s) that went into the town and did the night bar scenes without issues.
All inclusive is like eating at Marie Calandars every day. You go to Mexico and eat all inclusive and miss all the outstanding authentic food, and PV is loaded with authentic food. This hotel in very nice, old, but well very kept. Excellent pool and gym

Wow What a coincidence. I finished watching Tiger King season 2 last night and saw that Jeff Lowe was going to Puerto Vallarta with his wife on instagram after. I wonder if they used this deal? They said they were "going to South America" so they're so stupid they dont know Mexico is a part of North America lol.

Thank goodness its just a few school shootings here and not 30k homicide a year like in Mexico. Hey, if you're lucky, you might get to spot several corpses hanging from bridges during your transport from the airport across the few security checkpoint manned by police with machine guns. But anything for a great deal!!!

Used to own a timeshare there 30 years ago, would always rent a bug and drive all over the place..... never a problem although we got stopped by policia driving back into town, we were nervous because we had open corona's while driving, no problem they were checking for drugs..... took boatride to where they filmed Night of Iguana.... Great memories of our stays there....

I've been to PV many, many times. It's *mostly* safe. PV is in Jalisco. Just north is Sinaloa, where lots of bad things happen. PV is pretty safe.

Categorically, no OTA will ever earn you anything for any hotel rewards program, and you will receive no status benefits whatsoever except what is in the rate negotiated by the OTA (which is typically nothing).

TravelZoo is the finest OTA that exists for deals, but fundamentally it's still an OTA.

I lived on this specific resort for 6 months during the pandemic last year while working remote. Really nice facility, all rooms have am ocean view, amazing sunsets, and walkable to the boardwalk (most big resorts you'd have to taxi). Only downside is the beach isnt the best section but you can walk 5 mins to some nicer beach spots.

I put in three dates at Marriott.com and all were the same or less than this price for 4 nights. I've stayed here before. Massive breakfast buffet. Nice pool with swim up bar. Beach not great. Great location walking distance to Malecon.
