Don't waste your money on this stuff. If you have balanced chemicals and enough chlorine you are good to go. Check out Trouble Free Pool.

You can have perfect water and Leslies will still say you need this.

I don't know about y'all's situation or this one, but phosphate remover is definitely something that has its uses. There are a lot of cities with tap water that have high levels of phosphates after Flint. They don't want metals leeching in the water so they jack up the phosphate levels. Chlorine and acid don't fix the issue if you have high phosphate levels. Your pool will read like you don't even have any chlorine in it.
