I have one of these. I had had a Line 6 Spider and this offers lightyears beyond what it did as far as flexibility. It is a practice amp. It is not a tub amp. Does it sound great, yes. Does it have a million cool features, yes. Worth every penny. If we had had these in the 80's....I'd still be the IT guy. This would be a tremendous amp for a young player
I have a Burgera v5 tube amp that's nice because it has an attenuator (you can tamp it down to 1 or .1 watt while [theoretically] maintaining the same sonic characteristics of being driven at the relatively same level) but it's wayyyy muddy. People love these things and mod them by replacing tubes and speakers and caps but I kinda just want it to work.
I'd love to get something else, but it's just really hard/impossible to find something that sounds decent at bedroom levels. Boss Katana sounds like a decent choice....

Similar experience here with this amp (and I have a Line 6 Spider V). It's a great practice tool because you can use the Spark app to simulate many amps and hundreds of effects. The "tone cloud" has over 10K user-uploaded tones (some are good, others not so much). You can play along with songs from Spotify or backing tracks from YouTube. There's an interesting feature that learns what chords you play and creates a backing track on the fly. It works as a (potentially quite loud) Bluetooth speaker. And it's fine for bass guitar (I'm primarily a bassist).
However, I'd say this particular deal is just okay. I got the amp and soft carry bag for $218 on a BF deal. That's probably as low as this has sold for. Still, a good value for what you get at $249.
Cool amp. I like it better than the Yamaha TH. Sound cuts out from my phone when I connect to play along with YouTube. I haven't spent enough time time to find a fix but the issue is out there - google it.
Great practice amp, but it goes for $229 often and was at 229+ the carry bag before Christmas.
I had one for several months but stuck with a Yamaha THR10II WL instead. Positive Grid has provided a couple updates and now has a paid add-on emulation pack for it which is good news for the longevity of support for the amp.

This is one of those youtuber hyped products. I'd recommend just getting something like a boss katana.

[Sorry, just thinking out loud 😝]
