Nowadays, you need to at least damage the packaging to see what it is:
54-99-27114-2T00 -> China TLC
54-99-27115-2T00 -> Malaysia TLC
54-99-26533-2T00 -> China QLC
edit: for further reference, this drive is slower than my 10 year old Samsung 256GB SSD
Just buy a spinning disk drive for cheaper or pay a few bucks more for a better SSD
apparently Sandisk's newest iterations of these drives are the slowest in the lineup as they made changes that severely impacted 4k read/write and 2mb random write speeds. Kind of a bait and switch.

Thanks!!! I'll need to google this. I mainly have the plex for my kids stuff. Does it have to be so large? I have a bunch of old 256 sata drives laying around
