Most people will probably put Casino Royale and Skyfall in front of No Time to Die but I personally enjoyed this one the most albeit it's a photo finish between these three in terms of preference.
Pros:
- Entire Act 1 is only rivaled by the one from Casino Royale
- Cinematography is up there with Skyfall
- Action scenes are top notch
- Hans Zimmer's score
- Satisfying story to wrap up Craig's tenure as Bond
Cons:
- Some plot holes are a little hard to overlook
- Pacing towards the middle of the movie slows down a little
One big thing to keep in mind is that traditionalists to the Bond franchise may have a very hard time adjusting to decisions that are made. I call it an evolution of the franchise and to the Bond character overall.
Huge bond fan but this was Craig's worst Bond movie. The plot is a cut and paste evil villain trying to take over the world. I have no issue with what they were trying to promote in equality for cinema. But the plot was just terrible
Let's not forget how this movie completely and utterly WASTED Rami Malek. Even the most staunch defenders of this weak sauce movie have to agree with that.
I think that has been one of my biggest let downs as a Bond fan, Mads Mikkelsen was great and perhaps had less expectations in 2006 for his performance. Then they brought in well known actors like Christoph Waltz and Rami and they were not utilized anywhere near their potential. Javier was better, but maybe not to the bar he could have been.

You don't HAVE to bring your culture war agenda, and the buzzwords that go with it, to every corner of the world. FYI.
Some people REALLY don't like it when you display capable women or capable non-whites. If you commit the double sin of including a capable non-white woman, that's a real no-no and they'll say you're just trying to be "woke".
It was really boring tbh. I really like DC's Bond series I do.
But overall it felt really drawn out and boring.
There were hints of gay/women rights influences here and there. I mean everything has its places but it watered down the whole Bond experience and just downright stupid.

Not sure why you didn't like the movie… I thought it was actually pretty good and I went into it hesitant.. i watched for free on my bro's vudu account after he bought it. I bought it a few days ago for the $12.99 on iTunes… personally I think it is better than Quantum of Solace (lol, low bar) and put it up there with Spectre and Casino Royale…
I agree that they tried to play the woke game a bit, but did a good job tip toeing around it while still letting bond be bond… I am not for the "woke" agenda and still enjoyed the movie.

Nothing to do with being "woke".
It was a dumb shoot em up movie, and Bond became some invincible Marvel superhero special forces guy, taking on dozens of bad guys. Zero spyness.
He also has more connection with a dead Vesper Lynd than a living Madeline Swann. Zero chemistry. Like he is with his niece, not his love interest.
Madeline Swann and main villain look the same age which is stupid considering the beginning of the movie.
Blofeld scene was like a parody.
The villain was poorly acted and his motivations just randomly change.
15 years of backstory, a big budget, and this is what they come up with? A dumb mess.
It was good but definitely not the best bond (Craig) movie. Lacked a lot of action compared to the other Daniel Craig ones. I would say worth the 12.99.
