I thought Prenatals were proven to be mostly useless?
If you eat a healthy balanced diet for the most part they are unnecessary… however if you follow the standard American diet you are most likely going to be deficient in some of these key vitamins.
FYI Heme Iron has been proven to be much more valuable than other iron in regards to baby and child development. It absorbs much better and many more health benefits. Iron deficiency in babies, children and women is surprisingly common. As in if you are a woman, baby or child, you should be consuming more meat (fish included obviously) and eggs. Pregnant women should up it more.
Wouldn't waste the money on this product. Eat more heme iron. If you are deadset against it then just buy an iron supp.
Interesting concept, didn't know they have gums nowadays… I can't take big pills so I used to take prenatal gummies before, anyone tried the gum style and know how does it "taste"? TIA!

That's a fair observation. I can imagine that when you have a little hungry gremlin growing inside of you it might not be easy to eat healthily.

If you don't have enough folic acid the fetus can have neural tube defects, prenatal vitamins offer that plus the much needed iron to help prevent anemia from the extra blood volume in the maternal body.
