If you eat a healthy balanced diet for the most part they are unnecessary… however if you follow the standard American diet you are most likely going to be deficient in some of these key vitamins.
Wouldn't waste the money on this product. Eat more heme iron. If you are deadset against it then just buy an iron supp.

It's good to have the extra folic acid to avoid neural tube defects
If you don't have enough folic acid the fetus can have neural tube defects, prenatal vitamins offer that plus the much needed iron to help prevent anemia from the extra blood volume in the maternal body.
