I'm betting back 4 blood is going to be a $10 game in the near future, like cyberpunk. I'll hold off for now but decent price if you absolutely must have it now
It's a fun game, but the lack of PvP kills longevity. I played the tar out of it at release, and unlocked all the cards. After that, longevity relies on playing the harder levels which are impossible with random players who simply don't understand how to play a game that revolves around teamwork. I would get yelled at all the time for doing tactical team builds and plays, and I was always the last person standing. It just stopped being compelling. But I played it for a solid amount of time before ditching it, so it's still very much worth the asking price. Just keep expectations in check.

To be honest, I have no idea why games like this and Extraction don't recognize that enemy players is paramount in a game like this if you want to give it long term playability. About the only coop versus AI game I'll recommend is Deep Rock Galactic, which is, frankly, a masterpiece.

Game Pass has it tho. I'd agree to buy it at $10 maybe. It's not that fun of a game though. L4D2 was fun.

My buddies and I had a blast playing through it while it was on gamepass (might still be); especially the higher levels there the baddies got way bigger and....badder. We had quite a few LMAO moments where something absurd would happen to one of us and we just couldn't stop laughing about it. That's the stuff game nights are all about!

HOWEVER, the PVP (which was badass on L4D) was a hot mess and just annoyed us more than it entertained us. It was also lacking "effective" tension-building zombies like the witch and tank, [which you could sense were coming and knew you had to quickly get ready]. The ogre? meh, easy to avoid

Overall I still say its a great 'one-n-done' game that's worth a playthrough as long as you've got some friends to coop with. But if youre a lone-wolf player who is hoping to replay it often, I think you'll be let down.

If you get it from Best Buy, it comes with two—the regular yellow one, and a red one with a different image. Though it's not this cheap at the moment.

That was a Best Buy Steelbook. It was exclusive to that store.

Yeah. I figured as much. I thought the Amazon listing was showing both, but it was showing the yellow one, as well as the inside of it, which I mistook for them showing the inside of the red one. I guess I never paid attention to the inside of the yellow case.

Big fan of L4D, I've been playing B4B since it was released with 120+ hours played.
My only recommendation is to play with a dedicated squad of 4; there's a lot of teamwork elements added to the game such as pooling money, dedicated roles, and deck builds.
I can see how this game can be boring or frustrating if you are playing with randoms, so if you don't have friends to play with you should probably pass or wait.
If you have a fun squad of 4, prepare to have a good time.

Being playing the Yakuza game. Pretty entertaining game kinda slow but for some reason I can't put it down and it's a nice break from games like warzone lol.

Yakuza Like a Dragon was one of the best games I've played in the last few years. Over the top and quirky, yet it has a deeper serious side to it. It can get repetitive but there's so many different things to do that breaks it up once you get further into the game. Full classic SEGA arcade games like Fantasy Zone, Space Harrier, Virtua Fighter 2, and Virtua Fighter 5 FS are in the game too. I enjoyed this one so much I'm going to go back and try the previous titles.

I highly recommend picking it up or playing it on Gamepass if you have an Xbox. Also I'd play it at 1440p 60fps on the Series X/PS5 vs. 4K 30fps.
