samsung uses PPS (programmable power standard) for super fast charging, this one doesn't say it supports that. It should work for standard charging though.

It's not, it's pretty much overly expensive. You can easily pick up a RavPower 61W GaN USB-PD Type-C charger for $19.99 by using the code on the page and then use whatever brand cable you like or a cable you already own. These BestBuy chargers are overly expensive for not being GaN.

The 45W one says 3.0 Power Delivery on the box and mentions it in the overview.

I was really excited until I saw that you can't remove the cable.

Is this this too powerful to charge a Nintendo Switch and the Pro controllers?

Perfect for me. Was looking for a replacement charger for my kids' switch and didn't want to pay $30+ for one. This came to $14 after my $5 Best Buy rewards that I almost let expire because I couldn't find a product I needed. Thanks OP

Got one. Needed a 35+w charger for my chromecast and usb hub extension. Didn't want to premium prices on Amazon. This is perfect for what I needed.

Genuine question, why is everyone upset the cable isn't removable? Do the ends typically break or something?

Lack of versatility.

I hate these products. I think they're basically e-waste.
