Free with Gmail.

G Suite included free Gmail and Keep, etc. Now even Gmail won't be free for G Suite users. Legacy G Suite (free) is getting revoked. We must upgrade to Google Workspace. Gmail (as well as many other free apps) on Google Workspace will be minimum $6/month. I'll be moving my domain to Zohomail.

If your email address ends in @gmail.com then this doesn't affect you. This is for people that use their own domain name with Gmail, instead of @gmail.com

I'll give this a try but I am kind of put off by the developers comments in the review section. If it is a positive review, he's all "Thank you dear..." but for this negative review comes across to me like a jerk:

On attempting to store a test voice note the app reported a connection failure, then stopped working. Now deleted as defective app.

Defective? EZ Notes has 420,000 worldwide customers and growing by the minute! You say Attempting to store a voice note reports connection failure. So did you ever email support and provide them a video clip so they could troubleshoot? No. Did you refund the app? No. FYI. Our Microphone doesn't require internet and works completely offline!

Thanks, been looking for a good note taker. Will definitely give this one a try.

Edit: I thought this would have audio notes, but it seems that it just transcribes them.

Some of us who use G Suite Legacy are losing access to Google Keep in a few months (unless you pay a minimum $6 monthly subscription). So it might be good for us.

I was using Google keep previously and switched over to Tasks.org and never looked back. I'm paying $1 a year (donation, you get to choose how much). My two cents.

Just installed and it looks like you can't create and name folders but can use their preexisting folders. I might be wrong and there's a way but it's not intuitive. Seems like a basic thing to miss for such an app

I'll give this a try but I am kind of put off by the developers comments in the review section. If it is a positive review, he's all "Thank you dear..." but for this negative review comes across to me like a jerk:

I used Keep for a long time but I hate google, every patch since it was created has done nothing but bloat it. And it's only a matter of time before it gets shut down considering their past. So I looked for an alternative and found Bundled Notes. Not sure if it'd fit your needs better. It takes a bit of messing with settings but you can mimic the style of Keep. Ironically with more features it seems to run less bloated than Keep... Probably because it doesn't need to constantly spy and send usage reports.

This free app sounds iffy but worth a try.. Wish there was a better, quick voice note app.

The bad review reply someone mentioned sounds like maybe the Dev thinks the review is fake and is mad about that. Could be..

Edit to add: I expected the permissions list to be stupid for a free app offer and was very positively surprised that the permissions are extremely minimal.

Yeah I almost downloaded it cuz you know it's free... but the snarky review responses to the ones even slightly negative made me think otherwise. Like, why respond to all them and sound b*tthurt? Use your time better and maybe try to fix the ongoing complaints that people keep mentioning.
