I'm trying to locate the thread where these were on sale for less around the holidays. I think COSTCO had them for $400?

I had the dyson v10 that I had purchased from Costco and the battery just stopped working after 10 months. I like having an extra battery. Motor has 10 year warranty but everything else is 1 year from manufacture. Still have Costco coverage also

Just went through the cordless vacuum wilderness. Here are my findings.

Dyson Outsize - $799

Pro - legit corded power and capacity that comes with two long lasting batteries and has a slick demand sensing automatic throttling.

Con - expensive, no floor light, a little tedious to dump the bin, a little heavy for some and can be more difficult than other to get under some furniture.

LG Compressor $700

Pro - selectable for hard floors or carpet, superior quality, 2 batteries, lightweight, and brilliant design features (ease of dumping and charging stand) that also has damp mop polish hard floor attachment.

Con - expensive, no floor light, shorter battery life, less effective than others on carpet, smaller capacity bin needs frequent dumping and the floor mop attachment seems best for very small areas.

Shark Vertex Pro Stick $500

Pro - selectable modes for hard floors or carpet, great warranty, twin surface roller head is outstanding in all surfaces, great on carpets and excellent on hard, has a floor light, light weight, decent capacity, easily detachable bin, acceptable on carpet, can get under most furniture easily with a couple clicks and twists of the "stick".

Cons - the filters need a lot of maintenance and while it's easy to hand wash them in the sink it's kind of annoying to do it as often as I felt I had to. You have to occasionally pull and set angle dog hair from the bin. The build quality is not as impressive as the Dyson and well short of the LG. One battery whose life depends greatly on user selected suction and surface parameters. Feels like it might break if you configure it for under furniture too often.

Shark Vertex Pro Lift Away -$400

Pro - floor light. Very light in hand because it's configured like an upright instead of a stick. Dyson like performance on carpet and hard surface with selectable brush head modes. Lift away makes it super easy to get under furniture. Dumping bin is straight forward. Battery lasts as long as the Dyson.

Cons - one battery. Bin isn't as big as Dyson but dumping is less awkward. You might have to shake the bin wildly once in a while to untangle pet hair but seldom have to pull anything with hands. Feels a little cheaper than the LG but on par with the Dyson and better than the Shark Vertex Prob Stick.

Bottom line - the Shark Vertex Pro Lift Away offered the best bang for the buck and user experience for the money. It does very well in our 3 dog, 3000 sqft mixed surface household. Most importantly my wife and kids like using it because it's a little lighter on their wrists.

What's the difference between this and the one on Best Buy?

A927KGMS (best buy) vs A926KSM (costco)

Is it like a 2022 generation vs 2021 model?

I took a look at the product pages and it looks like the 927 comes with something called the "power punch nozzle" but it does not come with the hardwood floor attachment, unlike the 926.
