For retro fans, Aggelos & The Messenger are great games to pick up. Aggelos is a Metroidvania like Wonder Boy in Monster World & Messenger is a parody of Ninja Gaiden.
Definitely gonna get Red Faction and Metro Exodus. And I believe Exodus has a next gen free upgrade as well.
Exodus is tempting but I know I'm not gonna get around to playing it until next year, and the price will definitely have fallen even further by then. Just tryingn to avoid the backlog trap.

It's too late for me. I recently got the series x so I'm now playing catchup on games from last generation lol
Coming from a huge fan of the "this is the police" franchise, I couldn't get past the first or second fight. The combat is extremely slow and I just lost patience for it. I have it for the switch and may come back to it in the future, but I'd definitely give it a gameplay video watch before making a purchase.
Blue Fire is broken on the Series X. I guess there was a launch bug that made parts of the game too dark, but when they patched it, the devs cranked the brightness throughout the entire game which created the opposite issue.
Red Faction: Guerrilla is a steal at this price. Great single player experience revolving around a destructible environment.
Hell yeah. And I hadn't played the game in a decade so I can't directly compare remaster vs. original, but the remaster certainly felt pretty fresh, so they definitely did a serviceable job here.
Just such a fun game and it's a damn shame those kinds of physics haven't been brought into current gen. It's insane to imagine how fun terrain desctruction could be with modern engines.
HIGHLY recommend Metro Exodus ... yes the Gold to get the dlc. DLC: Two Colonels, meh.... But the Sams Story is great. And the main game is sooooo immersive. Set an alarm or alert, so you don't look over at the clock at it's 5+am !!! (not that I would know of that or anything ...)
