I am familiar with that controller, but I assumed someone looking at the Power A style of controller wants one without the aligned analog sticks. I believe the F310 also requires a driver installation to use as a Xinput controller, so it's not true plug and play. That's certainly easier than other wrapper solutions though.

I hate these controllers. They're 'wired' but the cable detaches and to make it worse, it's a proprietary one.

It's not completely proprietary. It's a micro-USB cable. The connector is recessed in the controller and it does have a bump on one side that matches a notch on the provided cable.Certainly aren't going to fit any random cable in there but the right cable with a small enough sleeve around the cable or some minor mods to the cable or controller should allow plenty of other cable options.
