Read bad stuff on Tom's Hardware, most of PNY's stuff. The TeamGroup Z440 was a better deal, still waiting to see it again.

Also there are claims it is coming in much lower(up to 25%) than PS5's compatibility requirement. Seen on Amazon and various forums, but take that with a grain of salt, I guess.

Just an FYI as someone who has had this in my PS5 since day one of the beta patch allowing SSD expansions ... it runs absolutely fine, has run absolutely fine and has had no issues :knockonwood: since installation. I run mainly my PS4 games on it but also Warzone and Fortnite on it (PS5 versions). I just wanted to provide a little real life input instead of just random reviews ... oh wait I am a random review ... did I just enter a vortex of time & space?

Yep we're stuck in it.

DF also has shown that PS5-only games like Ratchet& Clank: Rift Apart can run fine off a much slower PCIe Gen4 X4 drive like SN750 SE rated in the 3000s. I still think it's just a matter of time before an actual requirement gets met.
