Similar specs LOL??
SN770: 1,200 TBW
CS3040?? Try 3,600TBW.
SN770: NO DRAM
CS3040?? Try 2GB DRAM.
Try informing yourself before posting falsehoods.(That last line really wasn't necessary, but I won't try to hide it... just strike it out. My apologies.).SN770: 1,200 TBW

It looks like a variant of the x4 pci4.0 phison configuration. https://www.techpowerup
The endurance is really great on these drives.
No problem, and sorry for being an asshole. I think that last line in my initial reply probably wasn't necessary, so I apologize for that.
All good, it "forced" me to look up the specs lol. I have a pair of SN770's, but didn't know the CS3040 specs. I was pretty sure the specs were decent since it's an "XLR8" drive, but I was amazed by that TBW figure.
There doesn't seem to be much that stands out about this SSD.

Tempting, that Nextorage drive. However way lower TBW. Depends on what you're looking for... Temps, burst speeds, sustained write AFTER cache emptying, TBW? Or a combination, of course. If TBW is to be believed, the PNY has 3,600TBW over 5 years, or 720TB/year. 1.97TB/day. So you could, in theory, write this drive almost entirely, daily, for 5 years straight. Could be useful for someone who wants to perform backups daily, for example. Or large backups weekly. Who knows.

PNY, like Samsung, makes it harder now to see the TBW on the specific product page. A bit of a pain in the ass.
I still see it in-stock on Amazon.
500GB: 850, 1TB: 1800, 2TB: 3600, 4TB: 900
