You needed to invest $50 more to upgrade your floppy drive to 2.88 and get a square hole puncher to offset the sensor to implement a in-place upgrade. This in theory could scale your economy better. Even if the success rate is 70%, that will still net you around $3.5 mil of saving.

In 1989, I paid about $1 each for 1.5Mb floppy disks. At that rate, this should be worth a bit under $12 million for the same capacity in floppies. And that's not even considering inflation! Thumbup Totally a slick deal!!

White labled WD drives that are supposely some kind of WD "Reds". Generally no unless you have an older PSU and need to do the 3.3V trick.
