Friggin $90 for this!!
There was a kickstarter that did fast charging and android auto that I thought was $30-$50ish vs this!
So stupid to half sighted design this tech embedded in vehicles especially.

All ones I'm finding are 85 or 90.
Would rather go with known company and Amazon return policy than crowd funded sham.
This Motorola unit is the only Google certified wireless Android auto dongle. Early reviews have been great. AAwireless and others have to apparently use work arounds to setup and function.
Mines set to arrive tomorrow. I trust this one much more than the no name ones with no Google certification. Plus great return policy and little to no wait for delivery. I almost bought aawireless but didn't want to wait months for delivery plus hassle of possibly not being able to return it.

Nothing. This is for people that bought a vehicle before model year 2021. Most if not all 2020 and below vehicles that have AA require it to be plugged in to function. This adapter allows those people to have AA wireless without having to plug the phone directly to the vehicle.
I received mine yesterday (Amazon preorder). Setup was very simple and took less than a minute. Once connected, it works flawlessly. Haven't had any issues or disconnects in maybe 3 hours of use so far. The only downside as far as I can tell is that it consistently takes about 30 seconds for my phone to connect to the vehicle when started. This means a small delay before music and navigation initiate. For me, this tradeoff is well worth it for the ability to leave my phone in my bag or being able to just drop it on the wireless charge pad.

I also backed AA Wireless and have been using it for several months now. That one (just by comparison) connects almost instantly. The difference might be that the USB port I plugged by AA Wireless into is always powered, even when the car is off. You might want to try a different USB port (if you have one available) and see if you have one that's always on.
One issue I have with that is if the car is parked too close to the house, my phone wants to default to the AA Wireless WiFi rather than my home WiFi which is annoying. As long as I park my car further down the driveway (behind my wife's car or one of my kid's cars) it's not a problem..

I actually backed and have a AAWireless dongle in my hands and working. Works flawlessly in my car.
