The 3 way design also makes it well suited for a 3 speaker setup - the only difference being the cabinet size will limit its bass extension, which for home theater is kind of irrelevant with a subwoofer.

These should match your UB5 nicely. The slim line has a different chassis - but was made to match the tone and tune of the original series. It'd seem as if the chassis change was also an upgrade in finish, but time will tell.
From what I can tell, these should slot in between the UB5 and UF5 floorstanders in terms of quality and bass extension.
Very excited to run these as my three main channels!
Another option is that I have been looking at the Elac debut 2.0 b52 as well. Would they pair well with this?

I previously had a (cheapo) 5.1 system, but ditched this prior to a cross-continent move, and currently don't have the flexibility in my apartment for rear speakers... so adding a center and maybe a sub would be the options. I did keep my AVR so no issue there.
Thanks in advance!
I haven't heard of a "boobshelf" :-D

I purchased 2 as L/R desktop speakers. Had 7" of clearance on each side of my monitor so these were perfect!
Try again. Make sure you're adding the white one. Also might be USA only, not sure. I checked and currently 2 left.
The Uni-Fi Slim line was all on clearance and I wish I added this post earlier! I was going to get the BSU5 slim version of UB5 at $300/pair. But decided to go with centers as L/R vertically.

I don't see why not! Only 2 left as this comment though. Even if it doesn't sound right, you can always try to sell them for a small profit. They look and feel great.
