This guy was my all time favorite actor, until one day I found out him praising some racist. I guess I should've seen that coming, given the types of movies he excelled at. I am done with him. Regret buying so many of his movies.
Is there an easy way to tell if these movies have been released on 4k? I could look them up individually of course but that can tale some time so I was curious if anyone knew a quicker alternative
Smokey and the Bandit (The 7-Movie Outlaw Collection)
For those that may not know, the Smokey and the Bandit Collection is a great deal. It includes the 3 Theatrical films and the 4 TV Bandit films. This is the only way to get those 4 TV films and at 20% off - only $4.79 for all 7 films.
Disc 1 -> Smokey and the Bandit & Smokey and the Bandit Part 2 (Both are Anamorphic Widescreen)
Disc 2 -> Smokey and the Bandit Part 3 (Widescreen)
Disc 3 -> Bandit: Bandit Goes Country & Bandit: Bandit, Bandit (Both are Full Frame)
Disc 4 -> Bandit: Beauty and the Bandit & Bandit: Bandit's Silver Angel (Both are Full Frame)
I wish I could get the TV edits of the first 2 movies. The overdubs and edits that were shown on TBS is how I remember the movie. You SCUMBUM!
I don't really care for Clint Eastwood's newer stuff (starting with Million Dollar Baby), though I will admit that I missed a few of his movies from he last decade once I came to that realization. I have always liked his older stuff, so I might have to look into this set.
Yeah, part of me wants to get these because I vaguely remember them but my sensible side says that there's a reason I don't remember them LOL. This guy has a mountain a great films and don't see any of them here. And they range over several decades too. They could have easily included a couple of the classic older westerns, a couple Dirty Harry ones, a couple from the eighties (Firefox is a good one you mentioned), and maybe something more modern in there such as In The LIne of Fire. Can't forget Heartbreak Ridge though. Who makes these collections?
These are part of his mountain…some in this collection are stone cold classics. It's like MJ songs from Off the Wall or J5 days and you only know Thriller+. Clint's career is unparalleled in longevity/quality ratio. These are (most of them) great movies.

Not trying to be snide, if comes across that way. Just informative.
Meet the parents takes me back when I was a teenager and dated a beautiful blonde girl 🙂 she moved a few years back but were still friends to this day. Young and lots and lots of fun with no priorities. Wish I could relive one of those days again 😁
Thanks for the heads-up on the Coppola set!

I believe this set is the only blu-ray release of One From the Heart, a movie I've always been curious to see. I've heard it is flawed but it looks gorgeous to me (and at this price I don't even mind buying Apocalypse Now again).
I first saw One From the Heart on a laserdisc release back in the early 80s. I decided it was an instant classic within the first couple of minutes when I heard the title song duet by Tom Waits and Crystal Gayle. Terri Garr as the leading lady is a bonus. I finally bought the digital version with some soon-to-be expiring rewards credits. Now I may have to buy this once also

I didn't even know there were TV movies. But I decided to get the 3 movie collection despite owning the first on Blu-Ray already.
Until this minute, I never heard of the movie, "The Beguiled" in my life. Not a bad deal for 7 movies.
I'd never heard of it either until Sofia Coppola remade it in 2017 with Colin Farrell in the Clint role and Nicole Kidman, Kirsten Dunst; and Elle Fanning.

I got a Dirty Harry set a couple years ago. Forgot how good they are. In The Line of Fire is on Netflix right now.

Any idea what the difference is between these 2 versions, other than release date and price?
