Funny enough Knives Out was on cable TV just the other night. There's a level of absurdity to the film. The way it unravels at the end comes off unnatural and awkward. It's not a very well executed plot. Just an average film.
It was the AFI movie of the year and nominated for best screenplay Oscar. Look, I love The Usual Suspects, but that doesn't make it unique in the annals of cinema.
Edit: Had $5 from Coca cola, impossible to locate if I actually had it (outside of email saying I did) anyway ordered the movie, says $0.00 under Order Total but no mention of credit. Order email finally arrived does mention 'Promotions: -$4.99' so whatever. I rather own a movie than rent one, and credit was expiring in 3 days. Have not seen this yet, been wanting to.
The acting performances were just ok. There's no Daniel Day Lewis performance in this film. Hopefully with Knives Out 2 they develop a better plot because the first iteration of the film feels like it was developed by an amateur writer. I love mystery films. There's so many iconic films created in that genre.

Some households have more than one person in them.
A well-written movie, including whodunits, have multiple layers of complexities. There are clues and nuances that you can certainly miss the first time around. Then there's good acting, which can always be enjoyed over and over again.
And like the other person said, there's always Ana de Armas, who is certainly rewatchable.
Honestly marvel movies are becoming so common, they are becoming the yearly call of duty.
