An air fryer is a convection oven with a high speed fan that circulates hot air at very high speeds.
I had not heard a distinction called true air fryers before your comment.
Maybe you are referring to the pod shape of most air fryers versus the box shape of this air fryer. However, do you have any proof that the shape of the air fryer makes any meaningful difference in rapid hot air flow and therefore difference in cooking? Please share the details if you can. I would love to learn more.
