If you're looking for a wireless charger, look elsewhere. If you are in healthcare, or someone who is immunocompromised, and wants to ensure that you're not going to contract a disease by putting your phone to your face, then this is worth it for you. I am a paramedic and see a lot of gross patients. I got this to chuck my phone in when I get home. Then, when I get out of the shower, I just put it back onto my trio charger with my other items. Think of it as a sanitizing device that can charge your phone, not as a charger that will sanitize your phone. The primary function really is UV spectrum light emission. Also, it charges slow as hell. I happened to get it for like $7 from a previous deal. I'd say it's worth it at around $20. Just don't think it'll replace a normal wireless charging pad. On the plus side, you can also throw whatever you want in there... pens, keys, ID badges, etc.

UV-C radiation kills both viruses and bacteria by destroying their DNA and/or RNA, making it impossible to reproduce/replicate. UV-B and UV-A tends to do damage by oxidizing lipids in the cell walls of bacteria, causing death of bacteria by destroying the cell walls. The efficiency (log reduction in microbes) is directly related to the total emitted power.

According to the information on the Samsung Product Page [samsung.com] this uses UV-C and requires 10 minutes to sanitize the contents. (probably 5 Log reduction, if I had to guess).

For $19 shipped I'm definitely interested, if for no other reason than to be able to sterilize small parts (connectors, valves, and the like) or just to take apart for the UV-C LEDs.

It might (and probably is) be made by someone else, but it is Samsung-branded.

Is this actually worth it for the UV Sanitizer or is that a waste of money?

I got one of these for free as part of a bundle buying a phone directly from Samsung (a slickdeal of course). Have no idea whether the UV actually part actually can sanitize well or not, but gave it to my mom who was a germophobe, even before COVID showed up.

The wireless charging is cool, since she has a newer iPhone and never had a wireless charger. But the UV part, first thing she asked was, can I sanitize other things in it, like face masks? Actually yes, it turns out - the UV part works independently of the charger part, and anything you want to put in there you can run the 10 minute UV sanitize cycle on. So she was happy about that.

Does this actually work as claimed? I doubt. I've seen a phone sanitizer in a hospital university library and it was a lot bigger than this and could only sanitize one phone at a time.
