do not see the details... I learned the hard way picking up a low grade all-clad pan from Marshalls. It was MC-2 and was not good. Lesson learned, and now I pay more attention to exactly what type of all-clad I purchase.
Not sure what happened to my previously posted comment, but hey, let's try this again!

I SAID that this is a good deal. The "Original price" seems over-inflated, but the "sale-price" minus $10 makes it a good buy. All-Clad makes great cookware products, and I love my sauté pans. Thank you, OP! Buying one now. Don't forget to get your CB!

I looked into this also, as I was a bit skeptical of the "original price".

From several reviews I read that this set was originally a "Free Gift" with the purchase of other All-Clad products.

There were mentions that it is not tri-ply or as heavy as the D5 line but the comments were still favorable.

It is currently listed on Bed, Bath, and Beyond for $169.99 and on All-Clad.com for $170.

There are also some "Used/Like New" available on Amazon for $49.99.

It seemed as if it would make a very nice bridal shower or housewarming gift.

Thank you for sharing!

"Imported" is in the item description in the website.

This is definitely not a higher end All Clad pan as those all scream all over the packaging what processes were done in the USA.

I had a random 25% off coupon too! Woot! $37.40 delivered, thats one heck of a deal even if original price was too high. Would not let me use both SALE and 25% off, but still solid deal!

Macy's is one of those stores that notoriously overinflates their MSRP

A little big for me but can tell you I miss the oven mitts I got 15 years ago with a roasting pan. May just buy and keep those. Give pan as gift 🧐

Bought this from one of the all clad seconds sales.....I absolutely love it. Potatoes au gratin, roasted a rack of pork, it all has turned out awesome.

Stainless Steel? Pass. You can make much better tasting food with iron, if you don't mind the weight.
Each has its own benefits. You have very shallow thinking.

I definitely enjoy my Lodge cast iron but there are quite a few things I absolutely use stainless for.

There are even braised ribs where I've tried stainless, cast and the Costco Le C knockoff. The Costco porcelain enamel dutch oven turned out better than the Lodge cast.

Anything tomato based is recommended to not be in a cast iron. However I have made some lasagne in them and it's rather delicious.

Each tool has its place in the kitchen.

Salmon is way better when cooked in stainless than cast iron. Takes too look to heat up and if you preheat then it dries out the salmon before it's internally a proper temp.

Thee MC2 line is very nice and performs as well as the classic triply line. It's just targeted toward professional kitchens so is missing the cosmetic outer layer of polished stainless steel because they don't care if their pots and pans are shiny.

🙄 What would you possibly be using a roasting pan on a stovetop for anyway? lol.
