Personally I'd get the MBP but that's really personal preference. How are you going to be using the device and where? Is an onscreen keyboard enough or do you require an external keyboard?

Why would you say that? I was considering this but ended up with a macbook air because it has the same spec minus the camera and I got it for a lot less but I was seriously debating buying one of these and getting a keyboard for it.

Galaxy tab s7+ while inferior screen is much MUCH better. The blooming and lcd ghosting is annoying after using oled and no ghosting of the s7. I do have both.

While you can have it as a main device for some tasks I agree that it's far better as a secondary device. If you have to choose one device it's best to think of devices as creation vs consumption. Even where the iPad shines as a creation device it's still best used in conjunction with another computer.

I just wish Android had a better eco-system, I have a Note8 and a Note 20 Ultra, and it's getting meh fast.
