Whatever you do, when buying from Costco I recommend using the Citi card for the additional 2 year warranty on large appliances. This obviously doesn't work if you don't have the card.

the fridge has been excellent, exceeded our expectations and super quiet, dont even hear it.
edit. I guess its 5 years "labor" on compressor, but 10 years parts of comrepssor (linear compressor) which my model has. its their higher end compressor.

but if you buy from costco you get 4 years everything w cc.
this all said, my fridge went out and I needed one, I read all about this fridge, and I snagged from costco for the 2250 in black stainless, with 4 % executive and costco cc, and 4 year extended warranty. it was the best option I had. even if I have to pay a few hundred for a new compressor at 6-10 year mark for labor, I wont be mad. its whatever.
this fridge was rated fridge of the year at several websites, it has 2 ice makers, I have the one in bottom part disabled myself. dont need that much ice.
I bet it'll go on sale again in next 2-3months. I wouldn't hesitate anyone to not buy it if they can get a good price.
