My friend has one of these and I was super impressed with it. It's also received a ton of awards... see below. I've been waiting for a sale and it popped up today on Amazon Lightning Deals. I'm spreading the word for anyone who might want one. Enjoy!

The sound was decent, but I wouldn't buy from this brand at all. And no I didn't abuse the units.

The bose is much better. Many amateurs will tell you the sound of the tribit is as good as the bose, of course not ever hearing the bose or comparing them side by side. The bass and volume of the tribit are comparable to the bose, but the mids/highs of the bose are exponentially better. The mids/highs of the tribit sound compressed and veiled, overall the tribit is not great unless sound quality is not a priority for you. The bose is more expensive because it's much better. I tried the tribit micro twice and ending up selling both units, just not worth it even on sale. Tribits maxsound plus destroys this speaker in every way for a few bucks more. FYI, I still have a bose micro and it's been great for over 2 yrs.

The orange stays on my road bike and the black with me outdoors.
