It can be upgraded to 32GB RAM (2 sticks of 16GB) and the RAM will cost about $120

Here is what you'd need https://www.newegg.com/g-skill-32...6820374024 (32GB( 2 x 16GB ) DDR4 3200 CAS latency 22)

You can do it yourself fairly easily after watching videos on youtube. There are a few videos that show how to upgrade RAM in this specific machine

*Note that the RAM is 3200mhz but will run at 2666mhz since the i5-10500H is limited to that speed. They have 2966mhz RAM for the same price, so you might as well get the faster RAM as it will automatically adjust to the rated speed the CPU can handle

Mobile 3050 TI is net level. Not even close to performance. And I put it against the Iris Xe which is the best possible Iris implementation. If you put it against something more standard the differences grow even larger

I will have waited over a month for Dell to build and deliver my workstation after a delay with numerous others in this same position.

If there's another delay I will be canceling.

It's like dell doesn't know what products or components they have in stock and will accept all sales even if the stock or products aren't in their possession.

I would advise anyone to avoid buying a Dell.

Complain and ask for a credit. They took a month for my alienware desktop and I picked up a $100 credit.

Only reason it is being discounted, is because the newer 12th Gen Alder Lake laptops are coming out also.

Picked up the same model refurbished from Dell Outlet a month or so ago for $666. Thought it was a good deal then. It's a great laptop for what I use it for - photo editing and basic gaming.
