Just FYI for anyone with older wiring, this requires a neutral wire and the box to be properly grounded.

I have several kasa switches and plugs, never failed or giving me any issue. But really wish they have something that uses zwave or zigbee so they don't congest my wifi.

Those looking for SmartThings integration, this switch works with ST but would not perfectly work under 'Smart Lighting' automation if you want to turn off light after motion stops after x minutes. So the light would stay on until you switch it off or some other automation kicks in.

[Would love to see a workaround to make tish work]

Those do not integrate well with smartthings - one has to readd them every so often. Also they do not integrate well with alexa-if the server is down it brings everything down. I would avoid them unless you are using them exclusively with the kasa app. Also better zwave switches

Thanks, needed a few and have been waiting for the price to come back down. These integrate very well with Hoobs/Homebridge which gives me control via HomeKit. I find they are more responsive via Homekit/Hoobs then they are via the native app.

FYI make sure you have a neutral (white) at your switch. It's a requirement for these. Other than that they work great. I originally bought them mainly for their timer feature.

Works well with Google, but no matter what if the server is down they don't work.

Never have an issue with them, never have to re-add them. I have 6+ standard switch and another 6+ dimmers. For the dimmers, I can tell Alexa to dim the lights in "Room x" by saying "Alexa change [switch name] to 25%".

They can be associated to dusk and dawn so that your outdoor lights turn on at dusk and turn off at dawn.

These can also be grouped so that you can group and turn off all the lights upstairs for example.
