Today is 'change your password day'. While I don't like the concept for normal passwords, it's probably a good idea to change the code for one of these once in a while so that the wear on the keys doesn't give a hint about the combination.

I have had one of these on my Smart Things hub for the last 2 years. It has worked great.

I can change the code via the Smartthings app, and I can remotely open it with my Samsung Galaxy SmartTag. I also have it set a auto-relock after 1 minute for when my kids forget to lock the door after they enter.

I get a year out of a set of ACDelco powermax batteries.

I just bought it last week for $30 more from Amazon, so I'm unfortunately going to return and rebuy at this price. It has worked great with my Ring alarm system and my only complaint is that the deadbolt motor is noisier than it could be. Love the smartkey rekeying option!

Build.com is an established supplier with a long background. They've been great to me with both products and customer service.

I have these, they work great but they chew through 4 AA batteries so I switched to rechargeable ones.

Walmart has several on sale. This one has a rating of 3.1, sold and shipped by Walmart. Has anyone ever used this, pros and cons?

If it makes anyone feel better, I bought this on July 10th 2019 for $104.02.

Integration with my ring home alarm was one of the leading factors going with this model. As someone else has stated, it is kind of loud, but honestly you get used to it rather quickly. I use the keypad daily, but luckily in my case, there is no signs of wear on the buttons yet (same code since day 1). I end up changing the batteries about twice a year.

I've always just had mine on SmartThings - any advantage to setting up with Ring? I imagine I could only do one or the other

I'm curious about how you handle the auto relock. Does it only auto relock if the door is closed? Do you have an additional door sensor, or does this have an integrated door closed sensor?

100% this will work with vivint. I work for vivint. This is the old lock we used to install until a year ago.
