I am normally not picky with clothing and typically buy based solely on price, but after having bought a couple different Gildan shirt deals, I think I will pass on them from now on. They are of noticeably lower quality than Hanes.
The biggest complaint I have with Gildan shirts is the material around the neck, I think the threading is made of some sort of material that hardens over time. After maybe a couple of washes, I constantly get an itchy/irritating feeling around the neck because the material in the shirt around that area degrades.
Thanks OP for posting but will wait for Hanes tshirt deals.

i used to be 4x so i guess i take hard to find shirts

Yeah, I find the same thing though at this price I'm practically on the fence about buying them to wear one time only launder them and then use as rags. Hell, after the time and cost of laundering them and then ironing (if you're not using them as undershirts and don't want them wrinkled ( and buying shop rags for the garage) it sounds like a pretty good deal.
I know it sounds kinda like Oprah style 'I only use bed sheets 1 time' opulence, but really at this price .... Anyone know if these are part of the despicable Uyhur slave labor system? I suspect they are and that's something that bothers me.
T-shirts, for me, years ago were Munsingwear. They went away, so then it was BVD. That, too, went away. Stafford at Penney's are now the best I've purchased lately, although they are pricey, especially compared to these rags. Good price though & repped for that.

Which Stafford? Looks like they have heavyweight, dry and cool, etc...
Gildan v-necks were my go to for value a few years ago. They were much heavier weight than Hanes. Pricing was 6 for $15 for XXL, which was better than Hanes. I bought two six packs about a month ago and I agree with ThePeanutGallery. Quality is trash now. Super thin, constant awkward roll-up/bunching and the neck is stretched already. I would recommend passing.
Kirkland's Signature Ts at Costco hands down the best deal going all day every day. Shirts are of great quality and last. Seems like you get six for less than $20.
Everytime these Gildan shirts get posted they get upvoted- meanwhile the comments are consistent in everyone bashing how bad they are. Too many shills. Stay away from Gildan.
