No, you didn't buy this computer in 2017, given the processor was released Q3, 2020.

Yeah...4 GB was rolling the dice even back on Windows 7. Not sure if I'd trust this system even for random internet browsing. Less RAM than a similarly priced phone.

On a previous i3-1115 thread someone said Zoom brings an i3 to it's knees. They must be talking about some previous gen because Zoom runs easily at 20% cpu utilization. Clocks bumping from 3.0 to 3.9, that I saw, on a vivobook.

Make use of Amex 120 CB offer for Dell and get the below laptop for $500. Looks like a better deal to me.

I think it is more the 4GB that will bring zoom and Google Chrome crashing. I honestly don't know why they even make computers with 4GB anymore.

Probably because they are cheap and work well enough for someone who needs a basic computer.

I tried adding a Crucial MX500 2.5" SATA SSD to this computer and the computer keeps crashing over and over. No idea why. I enabled the SATA port in the bios, and only when disabled and the drive isn't being read, the computer works.
