(Update 2/3/22 5pm): The "is it Gore Tex or eVent?" mystery got to me, so on the way home I dropped into the Rack near me. They had a pair and... it had an eVent tag. So highly likely the entire inventory they are selling is that model, not the Gore Tex. The e-Vent model looked and felt identical to the Gore Tex model I already have. The question I guess is whether the e-Vent liner is as durable as the Gore Tex, but, honestly, with these being light hikers I suppose it doesn't matter since the EVA midsole will probably give out first. When I get my pair, assuming they fit and feel like my Gore Tex ones I'll keep them at this price.

These retail at $170. It's a great medium duty hiking boot. I find them comfortable (for a boot) because they are not hard, but not mushy either like I find most Hoka shoes. I'd classify it as a casual hiking boot, meaning they are comfortable for day hikes with rocky areas but I wouldn't want to tackle a mountain in them. They are Gore Tex so works as a snow boot too.
Looks like all sizes are available from 7 to 14.
I don't know why the Rack has them so discounted because Hoka and other shoe sites still have them at regular price. Hoka, though is for all intents out of stock. So could be a new model is on the horizon and the Rack is selling Hoka's inventory. I did a quick search for new Hokas in 2022 and saw previews for lots of models, but not the Toa. Another possibility is they are being discontinued.

So one of those two has to be wrong, but my money is on the photo is wrong as my pair is a year old, so if Hoka made this model w/ eVent at some point it was more than a year ago. At any rate, shipping is free, and if they turn out not to be Gore-Tex like the pair I own then I can return at a B&M store. For me, it's worth the gamble, but it's a bet I think I'll win.
And the cushioned running shoe feel is further enhanced by an eVent® waterproof bootie to keep your feet dry and comfortable. The sky's the limit, speed hiker.

These are lightweight hiking boots. You can probably wear them at the gym but it's an overkill and your feet will probably sweat more since these are waterproof.
