This warranty does not cover any kind of damage to the TV, the cost of removal or reinstallation, or burn in on the television screen. Stolen TVs are also not covered.
I found that on thier website but it's contradictory to what's shown on the box on the Buydig website...

There was a similar slick deal a few weeks ago from Secondipity that also had the "CJ" model, so perhaps Costco had an influx of returns to liquidate - they do not typically re-sell returns as open box in store
With that being said, this "refurb" status might have a better chance of being almost like new condition as opposed to other refurb sales on sites like Woot that are more "scratch and dent" of a previous year's model - and thus more of a shot in the dark on what condition you might get if you pull the trigger.
This is better than the LG A1 65" that is the same price at Costco right now. Yes, you go not get the Costco extended warranty you would get if you have the Costco Visa. But that warranty does not cover burn in and still requires you to go through a 3rd party to make a claim (can't just bring it back to Costco if in year 2 something malfunctions).

also those bubbles looks like they are from tape and adhesive. My guess is whoever returned it put packing tape on the screen with some kind of protector wrap and then the box sat in a hot warehouse...when the person went to remove it...it peeled the film off causing bubbles.
I'm seeing a lot of red flags with this deal. Does anyone have any success stories?
Best of luck to anyone who decides to keep theirs. I'll wait until a deal comes around for another 65" OLED with proper manufacturer warranty. That Costco 3-year manufacturer warranty alone I think is worth probably $150-$250 on its own.

From what I have read, my best option may be to go through Sony. Does anyone have any advice?
I'd rather not have to return this unit to BuyDig for a refund and then buy a new unit for $600 more.

My shipment is currently in shipment hell, but I'm kind of glad because after reading more about people that got theirs, I'm just going to not sign or pick up my delivery and have it sent back to BuyDig.
