If you just have to have this, the box stores have them for same or similar price.
Me, I will take the actual gear boxed dcf887 with 20650 celled 3 or 4 amp battery, or the typically cheapest per amp-5amp with 18650 cells over this new, but overpriced 'flat cell' with a total of 1.7amps. The 5amp will have same performance short term, while lasting about 3 times as long.

Also available at Toolnut but price is $154.99 https://www.toolnut.com/on-sale/d...tools.html

Post above from ToolDeals covers it. I like that same thought about 3, 4, or 5Ah packs instead.
The power output matches a 5Ah pack, but they are only 1.7Ah. So there is no magic added capacity, they just have more output than similarly sized 2Ah packs.

However if you don't find yourself in these scenarios, probably not gonna be worth it "ymmv" is probably the key phrase here(though shiny new tool is always fun).

For a tool like the Atomic impact, it's an ideal fit. I picked up a couple and they're awesome, but I also have a half dozen 4, 5, and 6 Ah batteries so I guess it made sense for me.
