Anyone own this and the officially branded elite strap? Is it worth the extra money? I got the oculus branded elite strap for $30 at Target when they had the deal so that's why I'm wondering

Kiwi Elite Straps are supposed to be really good replacements. I was torn between this and the BoboVR M2. I ended up going with BoboVR because of the way the halo-style holds the visor over your face instead of pressing into your face.

Yeup. This is well regarded as the best "elite" strap. The oculus official one is known to have durability issues.

If you already have the elite strap though as a previous commenter said they got for $30. I wouldn't buy this unless you want to return that one. YMMV on its durability obviously.

I regret coming across this SD.

I ordered from their site before realizing it was being shipped from China. 2 weeks and a day ago.
Last tracking update was 7 days ago. It cleared customs and was shipped to a city about 45 minutes away and upon arrival, I have had ZERO updates since.

id have easily paid the $5 difference to get it via Prime shipping. UGH!

I have the official elite strap w/ battery (not the regular elite strap). I hear compared to the elite strap, the Kiwi is better, but the elite strap w/ battery is weighted in the back so eliminates some of the advantage of the Kiwi.

Amazon is available and it's the most comfortable head strap I've used
