Translite MoCA 2.5 Network Adapter with bult-in WiFi | Wireless Ethernet Over Coaxial Adapter with 4 Ethernet Ports | 1x GE + 3X FE Ethernet Ports | Dual Band Wi-Fi | Model: TL-MC84-W https://www.amazon.com/dp/B092ZXM...EEAZQWS6VF
Imo, WiFi built in is a negative. Once u add WiFi and processing these devices become much less reliable. Me personally I do moca adapter and a separate ap.

Yeah, this one sux, only 1 of the 4 ports is gigabit, the rest are 100mbit, and who needs wireless.

The one posted by the OP has 1-port for 2.5gigabit and 3-ports for 1gigabit, more suitable for today's needs, 100mbps was cool 10 years ago...

I'd use 1 port for WiFi, but use a separate unifi ap or a tp link armada. The reason I love these is reliably. I have one in the attic that I haven't seen in 10 years. Once you add WiFi it becomes a device you need to reset every so often

MoCA is more expensive. Most people will be fine with WiFi or Ethernet cables, but when those won't fit the bill, this is money well spent.

So would need 2 of these if no moca adapters currently right? Or is there a different device to put on the other end for transmitting?

Also I've used power line before and have many

How does moca deal with splitting the end receiver portion so that one remains for cable and the other is used for lan traffic? Does it cause any interference?

Yes and make sure coax outlet in room want internet is on same line as cable modem. If only need 1 device you can get 2 MoCA 2.5 adapters for under $100 on Amazon.

It shouldn't. Check what frequencies you're using. Back when I used MoCA, I just used cheap 2-way diplexers that would split out the frequency for the TV antenna and MoCA frequencies (which was much better than using a regular splitter that would cut the signal power in half). Also some gateways from ISPs (like Comcast) can work as the uplink for MoCA, so you'd just need to buy one of OP's adapters.

Those only have 1Gb ethernet ports. If you really need 2.5Gb ports, you could get this pair of GoCoax adapters for $119 [amazon.com]

The GoCoax are $100-$130 per pair

The only reason I see to use the Verizon adapter is if you do no not plan to have a wireless router (with its own switch) attached.
