I own this model, it's a pain in the butt to put together since there's a lot of nuts and bolts, but once it's put together, it's sturdy and comfortable to sit in. I weight 160lbs, max weight capacity is 220lbs. I've used it for a week and so far so good.

I've had one for about 2 years, it gets used and beaten with no issues. I've been waiting for a sale to order 2 more. I'm trying my luck for the other kids

Thanks. There's a ton of great reviews and of course some poor ones. I'll take a chance and if it craps out quickly I'll return or possibly repair.

I have been looking to get a hover board but also don't want to die so I've been watching video reviews of these attachments as it looks a bit safer to play around on. The reviews of this one seem to be pretty good from the unsponsored videos about it, I'm going to get one from Amazon and see if I can't drift.

Hoverboards aren't too hard to get used to (6'2" and 205#) but it's inherently awkward and unstable to have your feet side by side while moving forward. You have zero wheelbase, so most of the stability has to come from leaning and bending knees.

I can only do them on really smooth surfaces or the motors can't get me going before I fall over. No serious spills yet…knock on wood

Is it easy to attach/detach if we want to switch to standing mode?

I have had this and ended up not using it at all. After 2 to 3 weeks of usage the connecting rods that connect the front wheel to the telescoping rear 2 rods, the lock is so weak that it comes off while riding it. You may have to stick with something like a strong zip tie or so. The locking mechanism is very poor.

Yeah, it's held on by straps on the hover board, pretty easy

Yeah, that part I had to hand tighten and then lock it in hard. If you lock it too light, it'll fall off, happened to me, so I ended ip tightening even harder lol

Walmart had the same one before Christmas for the same price and it's garbage. There are good ones on Amazon for a few bucks more.

Dang, too slow. It's OOS near me and Amazon upping the price stinks. I would have pulled the trigger on one.

Does this speed up the battery catching on fire?
