Me too, I had no idea what I was ordering, spent too much time searching as things disappeared, didn't realize I could order more than 2 at a time until late in the game, and could have ordered a lot more than the 15 orders I placed.
As example I saw what looked like something I might be able to use for a greenhouse and without doing any close inspection ordered 2 20"x20x outdoor weather proof vents, they arrived today. Huge, heavy, well constructed, I just have to ask myself - WTH was going on here!?

The bad news is that in my hast to put in orders quickly before the deal died, I measured all mine wrong.
I measured the size of the "Register", not the size of the "Hole". So, basically, mine are all to big.

I don't really want to notch the stud to accept these. I supposed I could try and cut the actual metal on the grille to match where the stud is at, though that is also annoying.
Maybe these irregular depths are a big reason that they were on sale - although I highly doubt they meant to go for 2/$1. Maybe 2/$10.
