Ordered when it went live and still haven't received them. Government efficiency at its best. Who knows when or if they will arrive (or if they are prioritizing certain areas because of politics - I'm in FL for what it's worth)
They probably hid them somewhere. Will be found after few months. We received ours in our state in a week.

To those who received this kit; where are they made? The kit we received from the gov is the same ones my kids get tested with at school. It's made in China. It didn't detect the virus after his class' positive PCR pool/group test.

I only bought 1 but they've sent multiple gift cards for the price match.
Probably got mine then. Ordered 3 and they only sent one $8 card. This after initially saying I'd get a $24 card per item.

Edit: got another email apologizing for mistake and I will get missing gift cards next week...presumably after they fire the dude responsible for the mistakes...from a cannon!

These are made in China. I've used them twice and both tests were accurate.

The only time I felt an urgent need to buy/use a test kit, was after eating at a food court, masks off ...
- 2 days later my dad and I had a runny nose and sore throat; though I could still taste.

I was like oh crap ...
I hope this isn't covid
I hope the symptoms are mild
Luckily (or perhaps cause we're vaxxed if it was covid) the symptoms didn't last
And 3-5 days later, the symptoms were gone

And so, I kind of lost interest in buying test kits
Then Omicron started hitting the news and kits were becoming expensive

If fully vaxxed ...
- I guess, just buy them to have on hand?
- Since they expire, buy more as the expiration draws near? Rinse and repeat?
- Is it supposed to give you a heads up? Should you need to go to ER or seek medical services?

Suffice to say, I'm not eating at a food court anymore; crowded place; or place that doesn't check vaxx records--and just take it to go.

Anyone have experience buying the Azova video monitoring on top of these tests for travel back to the US?

With your Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and Blue Care Network pharmacy plan, you can pick up tests in-person at Walmart, Rite Aid and Sam's Club store pharmacies. You must present your member ID card at the pharmacy counter to avoid paying out of pocket.

Anyone has Aetna as their insurance provider? If so, do you know how long it might take to get the reimbursement? Submitted a couple claims last month and still waiting to hear anything from them
Same. Looks like a slow process

Same with Blue Shield and Kaiser.

Actually, when I called, they told us it can take up to 30-45 days.

Check your health insurance's reimbursement plan regarding COVID-19 rapid tests! Kaiser recently made changes to my plan to cover up to 8 at-home tests a month. It may not be much for big families, but it helps somewhat!

They should NOT allow returns on these. Bad form for trying to return them.

I'm in North FL and already received Roche tests about a week ago. I did order them a day before they said they would be available.

My family in Martin County received their tests a few days ago.
