I just got a telephone call at work about a sink not working (I am in the maintenance department so I put in all the work orders). She said "Yes, please. The sink in the room is not swallowing. Please, send someone to fix. It is not swallowing well." LMAO

I don't see an issue with most of these. Yes it may not be their first language, but you understand what they mean, so why are you trying to belittle them?

Oh Maxie, please don't troll my thread.

First of all, a lot of these people do have English as their FIRST language. Second, I don't talk to them about it and you don't know them so I can't be belittling them, can I?

Huh I'm not trolling.

First of all, even if it is their primary language, a lot of the maintenance request forms are put in shorthand.

And secondly, you can belittle people behind their backs Ermm Take out a dictionary and look up what belittle means

Could be. That is what I assumed when I sent out the work order, but come on Max, you have to admit that it is funny and kinda scary when nurses and doctors are this dumb.
