Good price! That XDT15 impact driver is one of the best tools I've ever owned. Fits in my hand like it was molded just for me. If I didn't already have three LXT impact drivers (two 15 and one 11) and several chargers already, I'd be all over this. Might still buy it for the batteries and drill and flip the rest.

EDIT: Bought one. Just too good a deal to pass up.

Agreed. I have m12, ryobi brushless, and Ridgid subcompact. This subcompact with a 5ah battery is my go to for bigger jobs. The balance, control, and power is spot on.

I paid $140 for this refurbed from eBay, and it's waaay better than the Ryobis it replaced.

The driver is a bit loud, cover your ears.

I also sold the bag for $20, making it even more slick.

I own this exact setup but bought them all individually. Paid a bit more than this. Solid tools. Like has been said. Very comfortable. I too have too many Makita tools. Mostly because of this site! MadHa ha

These Makita deals since this Xmas are killing me.
I started back in 2009 by buying a refurbished Drill/Driver kit from CPO. It was a great deal for my home projects, built two decks over the years and then some. Those 13 year old batteries are starting to die so I'm adding to my Makita collection. The leaf blower is a beast. Now I probably have to wait for a deal on a lawnmower and trimmer.
Thanks OP

I've had my eye out for some smaller batteries for those times when I want something lighter than the 4 & 5 Ah batts I have now. At this price the tools are basically a bonus.

My screw gun has failed three times and my impact gun twice. Makita sucks ass. It used to be amazing though; my father's 20 year old Makita screw gun has never failed once and in fact every time my shit garbage Makita cordless shit the bed, I have to use my dad's old real Makita in order to get the job finished. I will never buy Makita garbage again. Seriously, the impact gun farking caught on fire doing nothing but extracting regular deck screws. Trash

This is a great set that is my go to combo for projects. Have had mine 3+ years and going strong. The light weight is a real plus. Even if you have bigger batteries I find the 2A have the best balance My bigger Makita drill doesn't get much use and I only bring it out for its hammer drill ability because it is heavy. Love Makita batteries not one failure in past 5 years after switching from Ridgid.

Chinese made Makita are junk, Japanese made are incredible. Too bad there's only a couple models that you can get these days. The old ones are all Japanese made.

This isn't a bad deal if you're a home gamer, but these won't hold up to heavy use. I've burned out a couple of them at the shop.
Not a fan of Makita batteries either. If they drop too low on voltage they are toast because the PCB won't allow them to take another charge, even if you have a trickle charger.

Can someone tell me the difference with this model? Sold by same seller but new and not a refurb eBay [ebay.com] Is it the bateries? 1.5/2.0Ah? This also has 3 year battery warranty.
