Did anyone else get the email from Amazon about CHANGING the terms of the prior trade ins, and that the 20% coupon now expires ?

I have a 20% coupon from a trade in and was assured repeatedly it didn't expire. A few months later, I get a message saying they do, and it expires like next month

Going to contact Amazon soon

expect to see announcements of new models in march or april - hd8 possibly - they might even make the hd7 usable. i have the latest hd8 and hd10 and i love them - the hd8 could be speedier.

I hope they come out with a new model soon. I already have this current edition and it is great, but will update to new model with their trade-in program.

Let me know what they say, I just got that email yesterday after trading in my old fire tablet in November. I was going to use it on the fire 10 when it was $75, now $109 - 20% with my trade in doesn't seem as good as a deal

I also got the coupon, said they made an error & didn't apply it to earlier trade-in, only they did - so it's an extra 20%. Too bad I don't want another one, maybe they'll come out with a new model by 3/31 when it expires.

I find it interesting to see how many folks talk about getting upgrade offers and discount coupons from Amazon for Fire devices. I have had 8 different kindles and 4 Fires thru the years and have never received a single email/offer.

This is effectively regular price now and not a deal anymore. Amazon really should be upgrading or updating them. They are years old in performance.
