Do you have these? Review says too much bass.
https://www.rtings.com/headphones...0-wireless

My take from the review is best for an office or dorm (block out voices, light air circulation) but there might be better choices for air travel (loud low frequency rumble.) For $42 a bargain if it fits your need vs. say a Bose QC for >$300.

As he said above it's micro USB however I've had these for just over 2 years now as my primary gaming & multipurpose home use cans and I am extremely satisfied with the performance at this price point.

I did just have to replace the foam earpads which wound up being a BIG upgrade to comfort compared to the stock ones. Can now wear for multiple hours while gaming with no problem, very comfortable. Wound up going with these [amazon.com] for $22.xx and very happy with them. Highly recommend looking into a swap if you find stock pads uncomfortable.

Overall very good considering the price. If you're in the market for a set that won't break the bank this is it. I will also note the ANC was good enough to help stifle our old, loud riding mower last season and listen to podcasts while I mowed...

Sadly lacks bass for a headphone this size. Perhaps thin driver membrane? This looks like the same one as last deal slightly different outside. Noise cancellation is decent but nothing earth shattering or can compete with Bose or Sony's.

I have been shopping for a lower end set of headphones over the last week. I have a set of Taotronics ones that have been great, but I need/want a second pair.

Two key things I am looking for are Bluetooth 5 and USB-C charging. Unfortunately, this uses micro USB.

I bought one and liked the comfort and the ANC, sound was ok, but I actually ended up wearing them more and more often just to drown out noises while on public transport and also in my apartment with noisy neighbors.

I ended up buying 2 and rotating them while one was charging. On both, one cup died, and I had to take them apart and re-solder a wire that had come loose. I had to do this with both. I upgraded to the QC30 that has usb c and doesn't have that same loose wire problem. I'm happy to ditch the Q20 for the Q30s and think the price difference is more than made up for in build quality.

Look for Q30 around $60 on sale.

FYI, you can get replacement pads from Anket support. They only cost me $10. But good to know there are third parties that fit as well. Going on about 2 1/2 years with mine and had to replace the pads about six months ago.

I second this. I got the Q30 at Microcenter for around $60. I believe they hit your marks and with the app, there's a pretty good equalizer. I would 100% buy just about any Anker Soundcore product.

I got both q20 and q30,
q20 has better noise cancelling, but only if you are sitting and not moving, otherwise you'll get that noise cancelling "pop" with any sudden movements.
q30 noise cancelling is pretty weak, but everything else is slightly better than the q2. I didn't like the tiny on/off button on the q30 and didn't like how a slight touch on the earphone of the q30 turns off/on the noise cancellation. I'm finding that a lot of times I accidentally turn it off and keep having to turn it on

I have these and the low end Sony CH710N headphones which are usually priced around $99. The Anker Q20 have better noise canceling than the Sonys in my opinion. Pure audio would probably go to the Sony headphones, but not by a big margin. I would say the cost savings with the Q20 make them the much better buy.

I've been using these for about 2 years at my home office during the pandemic. They've been phenomenal. I wear them about 2-3 hours per day (marathon days at 8 hours), very comfortable and don't make my head warm. I also bring them on travel and they are more than adequate. I bought the infamous Sony XM3's but to my surprise, the Q20s are more comfortable. Sound and ANC were better on the high end Sony's (no surprise) but at the end of the day, I think comfort reigns supreme over everything and these are the most comfortable I've ever had. I keep trying to "upgrade" but I keep coming back to these. Great pair of cans.

Only negative is someone telling me my mic was too quiet. Only had one person say that, but now in combo with the ANC I find myself using a loud voice when talking, so I take one ear off on calls to make sure I'm not yelling.

I've got Bluetooth headphones littering my house, but these are the ones I use by far the most. They sound decent, the ANC is pretty good, they're very comfortable, and I only have to charge them every couple of weeks using them for around an hour and a half every day. Had them for about 18 months now with no issues at all. Great set.

These are very comfortable and have decent sound and ANC for their price point. Definitely not as good as my Bose, but good enough that I bought a second pair and use them often.

That's interesting. I had these too, and really liked them. I found the micro USB thing annoying so I upgraded to Q30s and gave the Q20s to my wife. If I ever leave my Q30s at the office or forget to charge them, I'll use the Q20s. But anyway, I have found the Q30s to be even more comfortable to wear. The earpiece fits entirely over my ear, whereas with the Q20s, it sits partially on my ears.

Regardless, I would recommend these to anybody. If $40-ish is your hard budget, get the Q20s. If you have a few bucks more, I'd hold out to get the Q30s, which I believe you can find for about $60 on sale.
